SSA has entered into an ‘Affinity Partner’ arrangement with Allianz Australia Insurance Limited to provide insurance services and products.
The initial phase of partnership focuses on the establishment of a new SSA Workers’ Compensation program.
This is an on going partnership which is expected to provide cover for all your insurance needs. In the future the program will extend to provide discounted personal lines for members and their employees, and include the development of an industry-specific service station service insurance package.
Service
The reality is that only the largest of employers are individually account managed by insurers, leaving the small to medium employers to navigate the insurance maze unassisted through insurance companies and their 1-300 numbers. The Affinity partner program with Allianz Australia means that the SSA and its members will have their own dedicated Business Account Manager, regardless of size.
Price
The cost of workers’ compensation is regulated by WorkCover NSW and cannot be discounted.
However, there are ways SSA members can achieve premium reductions through effective OH&S practices and careful selection of their workers’ compensation insurer.
SSA undertook a detailed performance review of Allianz Australia. Return to work rates and injury duration were found to be 20% to 30% better than its competitors and the overall NSW scheme average. This has a direct impact on the cost of claims and resulting premium.
Special Offer
All members participating in the SSA workers’ compensation program whose annual premium is less than $100,000 will be automatically eligible for premium funding, enabling the payment of workers compensation premium by monthly instalments.

As part of the special deal with SSA, members will not require financial statements or credit checks and enjoy a special low funding interest rate.
